Bayside City is sweating through the peak of this heatwave.  City officials urge residents to keep hydrated and make attempts to get out of the valley for a bit of mountain top fresh air or a visit to the beach.  Might be a good time to connect with Bayside residents who have private beaches.

​In an effort to keep you all hydrated, and potentially inebriated, Faith & Flower is offering a completely open bar, including water, until the heatwave has ended.

The BAB, Bayside Activities Board, is gearing up for the city’s first ever Farmer’s Market at The Vanderbuilt. Vanderbuilt Dr. will be closed to through traffic and all residents are welcomed to a free booth to sell your treasures and get to know other residents.  Be sure to come out and support local business!

While originally met with much opposition from the IOS (Independent Order of Sociability), BAB committee member Rita McLauren tells the Bayside Sun things have been quiet over the past few days and “we hope that group has come to realize the importance of community support.”

Remember, the Farmer’s Market will begin at 10am slt – 3pm slt.  Booths will be available at 9am to begin setting up.  Residents are welcomed to come set up any time during Farmer’s Market hours.

Adding on to the day’s activities, Bayside will host it’s first city wide block party to celebrate the city’s new residents and commerce. Official advertising is soon to come but the party will be at 4pm SLT, central point will be The Vanderbuilt. Come out, dance, grab a bite and enter contests!

There still has been no word or leads surrounding the disappearance of Vince Montier.  Bayside PD urges any residents with information on his last whereabouts to contact them immediately but there have been no leads.  Family and friends continue to note that Vince has never left Bayside and do not believe he has run off.  The disappearance is definitely beginning to rattle Bayside residents, many of which state they’ve never seen any sort of foul play like this on your average Joe.

Vince Montier is a 25 year old male, 6 foot 2, dark hair and brown eyes.  He is a sales associate at SLBNB, enjoys fitness and was often seen jogging mountainside at Runyon.  Vince has no children or romantic relationships that are known about.  If anyone has any information about his last whereabouts, we urge you to contact Bayside PD.
